The “Proper” Way to Make Quesidillas


In this article we will review the PROPER way to make a quesadilla. This subject has proven to be weirdly controversial. I don’t know why or how, just that everyone seems to be very opinionated on how they make their quesadillas.

Firstly, get out all the things you need to make it. While you only need 2 tortillas and cheese, you CAN add more if you want. Typically, people add things like turkey or ham. Or if you want to get creative, add some jelly beans or something and tell me how it tastes.

Okay next preheat your stove top. What’s the point in sitting there and waiting for it to get hot. Literally just heat it before so you don’t have to wait.

Smack a tortilla and sprinkle some of that cheese on top. Then lay the other tortilla on top nicely and wait. You need to lift it up every 30 seconds or so to see if that side’s done.

Flip it and just keep checking on it.

Once it’s done, lift the quesadilla from the stove top, and put it on a cutting board, cut it up into hopefully equal pieces.

And WOW look at that! You have a quesadilla.
