Read Across America Day

National Read Across America Day takes place every year on March 2 in the U.S. Read Across America Day is a day where you can do your favorite activity, reading! This day was established by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998 to help kids get more involved with reading. This day occurs each year on the birthday of Dr. Seuss, a beloved children’s author. This year, Read Across America Day takes place on Wednesday, March 2.

On March 2, feel free to wear your favorite pajamas to school to celebrate Read Across America Day! Just make sure the pajamas you choose are school appropriate.
